What I take on

If it's on your list and it's not a full remodel, it's probably something I can do. Not sure? Ask, and I'll tell you straight if it's outside what I handle.

Work order 01

General Repairs

Drywall patches, trim, shelving, hardware, mounting, paint touch-ups, the odd thing that's been bugging you for a year.

Work order 02

Doors & Entryways

Storm doors, full exterior door replacements, interior slabs, locksets and keypads, doors that stick or won't latch.

Work order 03

Plumbing Fixes

Leaking supply lines and drains, faucets, toilets, laundry boxes, including opening the wall and closing it back up clean.

Work order 04

Flooring

Tear out old carpet, lay vinyl plank or laminate, transitions and base trim. Furniture moved and put back.

Work order 05

Decks, Fences & Gutters

Board and railing replacement, covered deck builds, storm-damaged fence sections reset, gutters cleaned and guarded, shingles patched.

Work order 06

Move-In / Move-Out & Turnovers

Inspection punch lists, repairs before listing, unit turnovers between tenants. Send the list, I'll work down it.

BR Handyman is me, Ben Riewer, working out of Hutchinson. When you call, you get the person who's going to do the work. No dispatcher, no crew rotating through your house.

Most of my work is volume: ten or fifteen small repairs a homeowner, realtor or property manager has been stacking up. I'd rather knock out the whole list in a couple of visits than chase one big job.
